The Panart kit features the following: A plank on frame hull construction, building plans with general details, English instructions, Lime planking, brass and walnut fittings, rigging cord and silk flag. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy. The motor kit is available as a separate item, part No. 601.

Panart kits are a brand from Mantua Models. The range includes not only period ships, but more modern vessels and also a selection of open ship boats. The models themselves are superb quality and certainly rate amongst the best within their class. All of the main ply sections, frames keel etc. are laser cut to ensure accuracy. The hulls are double planked with pre-cut keels and frames. Hull planking usually consists of walnut and balsa or lime. The fittings supplied are made from various materials, including brass, walnut, boxwood. The decoration can be either laser engraved wood, cast metal and/or photoetched brass. The castings are formed using the lost wax process to ensure a very detailed finish. Comprehensive plan sheets and build instructions are included.
