Heller Amadour & Bodasteinur Twinset 1:400 Scale
ROC AMADOUR was built in 1973 by the Ateliers et Chantiers de la Manche in Dieppe and assembled by Avry Frères in Lorient
(LO 193680). At the time when it was designed and equipped for the most modern deep sea fishing techniques and equipped with pelagic shovels that made it possible to maneuver at great depths, it was classified in the all back category of trawlers. The shipping company BOÐASTEINUR, whose home port is the Fuglafjord (Fuglafjørður), bought it in spring 1994 and named it after his company. From this moment on, BOÐASTEINUR mainly fishes on the mid-Atlantic ridge and stays there for an average of 15 days.
