A stand-off scale model built to a scale of 1:144. This produces a model, 25 inches (63cm) long with a beam of 3 inches (75mm). The operating weight is around 0.85kg and construction is mainly from balsawood, plus some plywood and hardwood strip. The prototype is powered by a single 385 type of brushed motor.

This model is suitable for those considering their first scratch-built project and only basic hand tools are required for construction. It is also ideal for supervised young people as a creative project for them.
