Sergal Mississippi Sternwheel Paddle Steamer.
This is a beautiful model of a typical American steamboat that operated from the 1870s to 1920s. the shallow draft of these fine boats allowed them to navigate all but the smallest of the main rivers.
The Mississippi can be converted to radio control operation, the plans and manual provide a suggested layout, although a fair amount of skill is required as some parts will require building from scratch.
The Sergal Kit of the Mississippi Features: A double plank on frame hull construction, building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings, walnut and lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, aluminium smoke stacks rigging cord and silk flags. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.
This kit can also be motorised.
