Highly detailed hand crank windlass. Featuring raised bed plate with triangular webbed side frames and incorporated deck hawse pipe opening; gearing with single anchor chain wheel, clutch lever and brake handle. With single warping head and a hand crank this windlass can be assembled in either port or starboard configuration depending upon which side of the ship is to be worked. Ideal windlass for small harbour tugs, launches etc.
