Aeronaut Tim Steam Tug
Tim is a steam tug from the early 20th century. The model can be built as a working ship or as a museum ship (with railing). The model impresses with an extensive set of fittings and high-quality etched brass parts allow fine detailing of the model.
In the voluminous fuselage there is enough space for the entire RC installation. A smoke generator can also be installed as an option. The model can be equipped with lighting. As with the original, the chimney is foldable and can be folded down with a servo. The kit provides for the drive with conventional brushed motors, but also modern external rotors.
Tim is built entirely out of wood. The kit is characterized by the use of state-of-the-art laser technology and a high accuracy of fit. The hull is constructed using chine technology and is planked with precisely fitting laser-cut wood.
The model kit contains:
All wooden parts required for construction, ship shaft, rudder, construction slipway, fittings set, etched parts and detailed 3D building instructions.
