The Mantua Model group of Italy is one of the largest model manufacturers in the world. Mantua Model manufacture all types of boat, ship, aircraft and car kits, and are renowned for their wooden model ship kits.
Mantua Model's most famous ship is the H.M.S. Victory and they have four sizes of this in our range. Other well known ships include the Cutty Sark, Endeavour, H.M.S. Bounty and Amerigo Vespucci along with radio control model boats such as the Bruma motor yacht and Anteo tug.
Mantua Model also produce two different ranges of starter kits, the Silhouette line which is bare bones frame of a model boat, and the Le Piccole range, which is similar but introduces the modeller to hull planking.
Cornwall Model Boats supply from stock all the Mantua Model materials, tools and parts needed to make these highly detailed wooden models. We can also supply model boat and ship fittings and parts including portholes, deadeyes, blocks, stanchions and rigging ropes.
